Popcorn Time!

Hey you! ♥

It’s been a while but I’m back. And I looove popcorn! Especially that warm salty popcorn that just came out of the microwave. We all know the salt and the sweet, but there are more ways to eat your popcorn!

What you will need for this are corn grains and olive oil or coconut oil. Most of you may already know the basics of how to make your own popcorn, but for those who don’t I’ll give a short explanation. You will need a pan in which you are going to heat up the oil. Next add your corn grains and put the lid on the pan (very important). All you have to do now is wait. When you don’t hear any pops anymore it is ready! It’s as easy as that.

Now… here are the recipes:

Everything tastes better with chocolate. You can melt a bar of chocolate in a bowl above a pan with boiling water. Now you can pour this on top of your popcorn. If you let it harden you won’t have to deal with those sticky fingers.

Another way to eat your popcorn is this: If your popcorn is ready, add some pecan nuts. Grab a new pan and add butter and brown sugar. Next add some cinnamon and vanilla extract. Pour it on top of your popcorn and mix it all together. Grab a bowl and melt some chocolate like you did in recipe 1. Now lay your popcorn on a plate and pour the chocolate onto the plate with your popcorn.

For the people who like things more salty there is cheese-popcorn. This contains a bit more work. First you have to put your corn grains in a pan with some oil and finally crushed rosemary. Then get yourself a bowl and in it you are going to mix the juice of half a lemon and some parmesan cheese and sprinkle a bit of grated lemon peel. If the flavour isn’t exactly how you like it you can add some salt and pepper. When the popcorn is ready you only have to let it rest for a bit before you pour your mixture over it.

Good luck!

How do you like your popcorn?
